book summary

If you are looking for a great book about friendship to read to your children, Horace and Morris but Mostly Dolores is the perfect choice!  This book follows three young mice (Horace, Morris and Dolores) who are the best of friends and do everything together. Horace and Morris join a boys only club for Mice, which upsets Dolores, so she in turn, joins a girls-only club, which was not the type of club she liked being a part of.  Dolores then finds a like-minded friend named Chloris and together they leave the girls only club and they form a third club that is inclusive of everyone and Horace and Morris come to join them. I love how this book focuses on friendships and on the non-separation of boys and girls.
